What we actually do well
Plenty of studios list every style that exists. These are the four we can put finished work in front of you for, which is a different claim.
- 01 Black and grey tattoos Greywash, heavy blacks and the patience to build a gradient that still reads in ten years.
- 02 Colour and traditional tattoos Solid colour, bold outlines and the kind of saturation that still looks like something from across a room.
- 03 Fine line tattoos Thin, precise linework, and a straight answer about how small a design can go before it stops being readable.
- 04 Script and lettering tattoos Names, dates and quotes, set and spaced so they read cleanly at arm's length and stay that way.
Not on the list
Cover-ups and anything else
Cover-ups are their own conversation rather than a style. What is possible depends entirely on how dark the existing piece is, how old it is and where it sits, and nobody can answer that from a description. Send a clear, well lit photo of what you have, or bring the arm in, and we will tell you honestly what can be done with it.
The same goes for anything else you do not see here. If it is not one of our strengths we will say so, and quite often we will point you at someone who does it better. That costs us one job and saves you a tattoo you are stuck with.
Not sure which one your idea is
Most people are not, and it does not matter. Describe what you want and roughly where it is going. Working out the style is our job.
